THE COURSE

Safety Beach Golf Club is a picturesque 18-hole course situated between the Pacific Ocean and Darkum Creek at Safety Beach NSW.

​The par 72 layout is suited to golfers of all levels with its generous fairways and reachable greens. However, the Course isn’t without challenge. Accuracy is a must due to the carefully placed bunkers, lakes and hazards not to mention the sometimes-tricky pin placements and varying ocean breezes.

​The signature holes are the short par 3 11th which is reached by hitting over water on to its difficult sloping multi-levelled green, and the long par 4 8th that features the ‘out of bounds fence’ running all the way down its left-hand side with a creek and a network of bunkers guarding its smallish green.

​The course also features a vast display of native wildlife including a huge population of kangaroos.
